Method
Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels to ensure even cooking and crispiness.
Drizzle the salmon with olive oil, then rub it evenly over both sides.
In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Sprinkle the seasoning blend evenly over both sides of the salmon.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes. Place the salmon in the air fryer basket, skin-side down if using skin-on fillet.
Cook for 8–10 minutes, depending on thickness, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Avoid overcooking to keep it moist.
Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for 2 minutes before serving. Serve with lemon wedges.
