Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh salmon fillet skin-on or skinless
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 lemon cut into wedges (for serving)

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • small bowl
  • spatula

Method

  1. Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels to ensure even cooking and crispiness.
  2. Drizzle the salmon with olive oil, then rub it evenly over both sides.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Sprinkle the seasoning blend evenly over both sides of the salmon.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes. Place the salmon in the air fryer basket, skin-side down if using skin-on fillet.
  5. Cook for 8–10 minutes, depending on thickness, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Avoid overcooking to keep it moist.
  6. Carefully remove the salmon from the air fryer and let it rest for 2 minutes before serving. Serve with lemon wedges.
