Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh baby spinach packed
  • 1/2 cup fresh kale leaves stems removed and packed
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
  • 1 medium ripe banana
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Method

  1. Add the baby spinach and kale leaves to a high-powered blender. Blend on high for 10-15 seconds until the greens are finely chopped.
  2. Add the frozen pineapple chunks, frozen mango chunks, and banana to the blender. Blend for another 20-30 seconds until the fruit is broken down and smooth.
  3. Pour in the almond milk and coconut water. Blend for 10-15 seconds to incorporate the liquids evenly.
  4. Add the chia seeds and blend for an additional 5-10 seconds until the seeds are well distributed throughout the smoothie.
  5. Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve immediately. The texture should be creamy and slightly thick.
