Method
Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease an 8x8-inch baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the sugar, cocoa powder, and salt until fully combined.
Let the mixture cool slightly, then whisk in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, until the batter is smooth and shiny.
Gently fold in the flour until just combined, being careful not to overmix. The batter should be thick and glossy.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs (but not wet batter).
Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before slicing into squares and serving.
