  • 120 ml whole milk, cold
  • 2 tbsp simple syrup (or to taste)
  • 6 ice cubes
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • whipped cream (optional, for topping)
  • chocolate shavings or cinnamon (optional, for garnish)

Equipment

  • coffee maker or French press
  • tall glass
  • stirring spoon

Method

  1. Brew 200 ml of strong coffee and let it cool completely. Chill in the fridge for faster results.
  2. In a tall glass, combine the chilled coffee, milk, simple syrup, and vanilla. Stir well to mix.
  3. Add 6 ice cubes to keep your drink refreshingly cold.
  4. Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding more syrup if desired.
  5. Top with whipped cream if using, then garnish with chocolate shavings or cinnamon.
  6. Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy cold.

Notes

Use almond or oat milk for a dairy-free twist, and try stevia or monk fruit for a lower sugar option. Make coffee ice cubes to avoid dilution. For a frappé feel, blend with ice. Pre-chill coffee for best results.
