1/2cucumber, thinly sliced
1/2lemon, thinly sliced
1inchpiece fresh ginger, peeled and grated
5fresh mint leaves
1tbspapple cider vinegar
1/4tspground turmeric
1tsphoney (optional)

Method
Add the cold water to a mason jar or large glass.
Drop in the cucumber and lemon slices, making sure they're fully submerged.
Stir in the grated ginger, apple cider vinegar, turmeric, and honey if using.
Gently tear the mint leaves to release flavor and add them to the drink.
Stir everything well and let the mixture rest for at least 15 minutes to infuse.
Give it one last stir before drinking, or strain if preferred.
For best results, serve chilled and drink in the morning on an empty stomach.
For a sugar-free version, omit the honey. You can also replace ground turmeric with fresh turmeric root for stronger anti-inflammatory benefits. Letting the drink chill overnight intensifies the flavors. Strain before drinking if you prefer a smoother texture.
