Make your own Pink Salt at home with beetroot powder and sea salt. This colorful finishing salt adds a beautiful pop and subtle floral notes to any dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup coarse sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon beetroot powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried rose petals, finely crushed

  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of coarse sea salt and 1 teaspoon of beetroot powder.
  2. Use a whisk or fork to thoroughly mix the ingredients until the salt is evenly tinted a light pink color.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of finely crushed dried rose petals to the bowl and gently stir to distribute them evenly throughout the salt.
  4. Spread the mixture in a thin, even layer onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Allow the pink salt to air-dry at room temperature for 1 hour, stirring occasionally to ensure even drying.
