This creamy, nutty pistachio smoothie blends frozen banana, pistachios, Greek yogurt, and a touch of honey with warming cardamom. It's refreshing, nourishing, and takes just minutes to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup shelled unsalted pistachios
  • 1 frozen banana, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Method

  1. Add the almond milk, Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract to a high-speed blender.
  2. Toss in the pistachios and let them sit in the liquid for 5 minutes to soften slightly for smoother blending.
  3. Add the frozen sliced banana, honey (if using), cardamom, and ice cubes.
  4. Blend on high for 1 to 2 minutes, until completely smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides if needed.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding a little more honey if desired.
  6. Pour into a tall glass and serve immediately while cold and frothy.

Notes
