What we publish

Our recipes are the kind people actually cook on a busy weekday: casseroles and skillet dinners, slow-cooker meals, make-ahead breakfasts, bakes and no-fuss treats. You will find them in five sections:

  • Dinner: casseroles, skillets and slow-cooker mains.
  • Breakfast: bakes, toasts and make-ahead mornings.
  • Desserts: cakes, cookies, cobblers and creamy treats.
  • Appetizers: dips, bites and snacks for sharing.
  • Drinks: warm mugs, punches and cold sippers.

Every recipe is free to read, print and cook. There is no account to create, no paywall and no newsletter to sign up for.

How a recipe is made

Each recipe starts from a short cooking video. We write it up with exact ingredients, timings, step-by-step instructions and food-safety temperatures, and check it for consistency before it is published. Nutrition figures are estimates.

Our editorial standards explain what those checks cover, how we handle food safety and allergens, and what we will never do, such as accept payment to feature a recipe.

What a recipe page gives you

  • Prep, cook and total times, the number of servings and, where available, estimated nutrition per serving.
  • An ingredient list with exact amounts, a servings scaler and a switch between US and metric measures.
  • Numbered steps grouped into stages, with visual cues and cooking temperatures where they matter.
  • Safe minimum internal temperatures in °F and °C, plus a warning whenever an ingredient is served raw or lightly cooked.
  • Common mistakes, tips, variations, serving ideas, and how to store, freeze and reheat leftovers.
  • A printable recipe card that fits the essentials on a page.

Who we are

Recipes are published under the name EasyCooks Kitchen, the editorial team behind EasyCooks Recipes. We sign as a team because every recipe goes through the same writing and checking process.

We write for home cooks in the United States, in plain American English, with US measurements and temperatures in Fahrenheit followed by Celsius, like this: 350°F (175°C).

How the site is funded

EasyCooks Recipes is paid for by advertising. Ads are placed by our advertising partner and are kept separate from the recipes: advertisers have no say in what we publish, and no recipe on the site is sponsored.

Ads never appear on our company and policy pages. You can review how advertising uses your information, and change your choices, in our privacy policy and cookie policy.
