Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser and reads on later visits. Websites also use similar technologies: local storage (data a site keeps in your browser), pixels (tiny images or scripts that record that a page or an ad was seen) and device identifiers. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.
Some are needed for a site to work or to remember a choice you made. Others, such as advertising cookies, need your consent in some countries.
What we store ourselves
EasyCooks Recipes sets no cookies of its own. We keep a few of your choices in your browser’s local storage, so they are still there when you come back. They never leave your device.

ec-checked:followed by the end of the recipe’s web address- Purpose

Your consent choices
Consent is managed by the consent platform of our advertising partner, Ezoic. It stores your choices so that you are not asked again on every page, for example in the ez-consent-tcf and addtl_consent cookies and in local storage. These are strictly necessary to respect your decision.
Advertising cookies
Ads on our recipe and listing pages are served by Ezoic and the advertising companies it works with. They use cookies to show ads, avoid showing you the same ad too often, measure how ads perform, detect fraud and, where you allow it, show ads based on your interests.
Where the law requires it, for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, these cookies are used only for the purposes you agree to. The consent window lists every company involved and what it does. Our privacy policy explains how advertising uses your information.
Measuring the site
Our advertising partner measures how pages and ads perform as part of its service, using the technologies described above. We do not use any other analytics service.
Your choices
- Privacy settings. Open the consent window at any time to review or change your choices, with the button below or the Privacy settings link at the bottom of every page.
- Do Not Sell or Share. In US states where it applies, use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link at the bottom of the page to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for advertising.
- Your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies and clear local storage, usually under Settings, then Privacy.
- Industry opt-out pages. You can opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at once through YourAdChoices and the Network Advertising Initiative in the United States, or Your Online Choices in Europe.
Blocking cookies does not stop the recipes from working. You will still see ads, but they may be less relevant to you.
Changes and questions
We update this policy when the cookies used on the site change, and change the date at the top of the page. Questions are welcome through our contact form.
